Does anyone know much about M8R8 surfboards?

I'm about to take up surfing and was just wondering if anyone knows about M8R8 surfboards? They're really cheap on Ebay, about $200 for a mini mal. Do you think this would be a good enough board to learn on?

Some things about these boards:

They are made over seas.

They are not hand shaped

They are over priced

They won't work as good as an american shaped board

Although these boards look cool and are a good price online i wouldn't suggest it. For $200-$300 you can get a good used board that is a brand name. Support your local shaper and buy from him.
