I want to maybe go there but I have never heard of it. Is is a good college that employers take seriously? Or is one that is not very respected, or accepted.

  1. Depends on what you want to study. Its programs in psychology - including organizational psychology - and in forensic studies are taken very seriously. They are much better known by the name of the schools than the university. (It changed its name some years back.) The psychology school is called California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP), the OD/business school is the Marshall Goldsmith School of Management. Dr. Goldsmith is a professor there, and he's a very famous executive coach and business author. The forensics school is called Alliant, like the university; it's headed by the nation's top expert on serial crimes, Dr. Eric Hickey.

You can Google the following names and find out a lot:

    California School of Professional Psychology

    Marshall Goldsmith

    Marshall Goldsmith School of Management

    Eric Hickey

There are also some groups for Alliant and these schools on LinkedIn and Facebook (big group for forensics there). I will give you some links below.

    Marshall Goldsmith School of Management

    Marshall Goldsmith
