Does anyone know of Charities that provide housing and care 4 mothers with children n the Metro Detroit Area?

I friend of mine is 18 and she has a 1yr old son. She was living with her father but she got kicked out. She is house hopping right now with this infant and she has no job. She doesnt have money but she is doing the best she can. Does anyone know any charities or organizations that could maybe help her out. Help her find work, a place to live and someone to take care of her child while shes working? She also needs help buying diapers and food. She is part of the W.I.C program so thats helping but she really needs some help. If anyone knows anything feel free to contact me through my email or write it here. She needs a woman's shelter or transitional housing. They also have homeless shelters for people with kids you actually get a room.  She can go to jobs and family services and get food stamps and TANF but those are temporary and they ask you to find a job or keep looking

try Catholic Charities or Salvation Army.  

They are both in the phone book and should have email links.  Tough space to be in.   It is a heck of a way to grow up and find out the world does not owe you a living or even a place to live.  

No one thinks that will happen to them.  Kids cannot imagine parents will do that to them.
