They are very legit, and very good at what they do. As Maryn hinted, they're very hard to get in with.

Preditors and Editors gives them both the symbol showing confirmed sales to paying publishers and the coveted "Highly Recommended." Apparently they're highly selective, but if you've piqued their interest, that's excellent.
