Does anyone know of a cheap campervan hire company in Ireland?

All the ones I've seen so far charge about Eur150 a day. I have a budget of about 500 for a week.

The driver is over 30, male, has a full Irish driving licence and about ten years no-claims bonus, if insurance costs come into it. We would be staying in Ireland (in October), no ferry rides or anything. And there's just the two of us, so a small camper would be fine.

Any help appreciated!

Sorry Wolfgirl, I was looking to hire one of these last year for 2 weeks - it would have worked out cheaper to buy a second hand one. 150 a day is actually a pretty good rate, relatively speaking.

You could try www.eircooled.com - its a vintage VW bus forum/club thing. Someone there might do rentals on the side??

We have a class of a caravan in the back field. The chickens have been in and out of it for the past few years but if ya want it it's yours.

(You'll have to get new wheels for it first..........and a roof...........)
