Does anyone know of a dark rum, that tastes like Myers's but a little less expensive?

Myers's isn't an "expensive" rum, it seems to have more of a middle-price, at around $30ish for 1.75l... so if you want something cheaper, you then get into the "cheap" rums, that won't give you terribly great flavor

you could try bacardi gold dark, its about $20, but i wouldn't risk anything cheaper unless you are masking the flavor in a cocktail.
