Does anyone know of a good American-style Steakhouse in the North East (England)?

I'm from the Durham area but accept that I'll probably have to travel towards either Newcastle or Darlington way. Also, if there are any near Leeds, that would be great. Thanks!

tgi fridays near the metro centre does a good steak and new orleans in sunderland is a great american style steakhouse

What about Frankie and Bennys, I know there's one in Sunderland and I'm fairly certain there's one in Leeds. They do great burgers and steaks and fantastic cocktails. The decor is 1950's Italian/American diner

There's a TGI Fridays in Stockton at the Tees Valley Retail Park.  Why not look on their website as I'm sure there must be one in Newcastle or Sunderland....
