*I don't want anything overdone just enough to where i am acting also and not just standing around *I am usually placed as a second soprano but a can hit up to a E two octaves above middle c on a good day. However not quite mezzo but low soprano exciting songs would be excellent! *I have already done the song popular from Wicked and it was perfect! Bouncy songs will work but if there are any nice serious songs out there with a lot of feeling those would be just as nice!

  1. I just got into the production of "Songs For A New World" in New York City and there are two good songs to sing from there for you. One of them is called "Christmas Lullaby" it is head voice and has such a good meaning. The second is "I'm Not Afraid Of Anything" and it is an amazing song! Lokk them up you might like them!!!!!

  2. Man I was going to say Popular from wicked but if you already did that then.......how about Tomarrow from Annie? I hope this helped.

ps- I love the song Popular its so funny and up beat. :P

  3. so much better from legally blonde it is one of the hugest powerhouses on broadway and if you nail that then it'll prove something. it's a great song with a lot of emotion....GOOD LUCK!!!

  4. 'I'll know' from Guys and Dolls. It's a wonderful love song delivered from innocence. I play it on piano frequently. With piano accompaniment you can't go wrong. It will bring your audience back to the golden age of Bway. Can't miss.

  5. You could try Memory from Cats or if you wanted something more like Popular you could do Good Morning Baltimore from Hairspray.

  6. I would suggest Defying Gravity from Wicked...hope that helps...

  7. "My New Philosophy" by Kristin Chenoweth from "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" is a cute song and requires acting with your face, hands, ect. Also "If I Were a Bell" from Guys and Dolls (soprano song) requires a little bit of acting and would be perfect for your range (I'm pretty much the same range..)
