Does anyone know of a good camp site. sw. uk.?

i dont know where to go this year. it has to be by a nice beach. and have good attractions

  2. my favourite camp site in Cornwall is the one at Treen ... it's on the top of the cliffs next to the coastal path, fantastic walks all along the cliffs, lovely pub nearby that does really nice meals, and you can walk down to the next village, Porthcurno, where there's a lovely beach

    otherwise there's some lovely campsites over at Hayle near St Ives, next to a gorgeous sandy beach and a short bus ride into St Ives itself with its surfing, fishermens cottages, and Tate Modern

    I don't know what sort of "attractions" you're after ... if you're after the man-made kind of amusement arcades and rollercoasters, then you need to look in the vicinity of Newquay ... if you're after more natural things like spectacular cliffs, a theatre cut out of the rocks at the edge of the sea, white sand, surf, and blue blue sea, then the far west of Cornwall is your thing
