  1. like the people above i take it you are british diawa make avery good and large range of beach casters and most have a weight range of 4 to 8oz and the prices range from 150 to over 300 pounds i myself use zipplexx rods which i consider the best the bad news is they start at about 200 pounds but as the saying goes you gets what you pay for

  2. for me it would have to be a diawa 12ft beachcaster, ive used them for years until i got into freshwater fishing where i still use diawa rods. the spares service is second to non if your ever unfortunate enough to break it and there very well priced and have quality blanks, reel seats and eyes.

  3. Since you use the term beach caster and want a rod of 12-14ft then I'm going to assume you're in the UK, one rod that will work very well and has a life time guarantee is the Grey's of Alnwick M2 Apollo, its great for fishing from the rocks and beach, and is well built, depending on where you buy them it should be around £189.

  4. go to glasgow angling centre website and look for the best deals.

you can get a good choice for all budget ranges.

otherwise try sea angler magazine and look thro there for tackle dealers.

only the very, very cheap ones will be suspect to snapping and even then only really through mis-use.

try and ask your q on www.worldseafishing. com on the forum page.

  5. SOUTHEND ANGLING DO A NICE SET OF COMBO'S, GIVE THEM A RING

  6. ron thompson do an excellent range of beachcasters and are very reasonable.
