Does anyone know of a good tailor in dallas?

i'm looking for a tailor in dallas who is not too expensive, but does good work. i have a bridesmaids dress i need to have taken in and hemmed. thanks!

Agree with answer above - Unique Tailor is excellent.  They do good work, price is very reasonable, friendly service.  I've taken tons of dress pants and jeans to them - all done quickly and done well.

It really depends on where in DFW you are located.  I use two places -- one on Green Oaks at I-20 in Arlington, called JC Tailor.  The other one I use is at Greenville and Mockingbird, and I don't know the name, but they're both really good.

I've used this "Martha's Alterations" to alter my prom dresses from high school, and I actually used her just last year to alter a bridesmaid dress for me. I had to have mine taken in around the tummy, and it wasn't expensive at all. She does very good work. The number for her business is 214-352-9197. Good luck :o)

Jools mentioned a tailor at Greenville and Mockingbird... It's on the South-West corner.  I've used them for years and they're great.  It's called Unique Tailors.  Parking is a bit of a pain, but they do great work.  I've had a few tricky pieces to alter and they've done a beautiful job.  I was also in there one time and a woman was having them make her a mother-of-the-bride dress and it looked like it was from Neimans.  So I hope that helps.  ;-)
