Does anyone know of a great restaurant in Sydney Australia? Preferably one with great views. Thanks?

I have a friend coming over from the US, and I want to take her somewhere with great food, service, and a great view. Maybe somewhere around Bondi, although I am open to suggestions. She doesn't eat Japanese though.

Take your friend to Doyles at Watsons Bay.  It's a fantastic restaurant, it has brilliant views up the harbour towards the city, and it's a nice journey there on the ferry.  If you're romantically inclined to this woman then a nice walk along the beach or up along the south head area is rather nice too.

I'd avoid Bondi- although It's Iconic and beautiful, I'd recommend somewhere on "The Rocks" at night to take in the harbour veiws. There are great restaraunts such as Jordans Seafood Restaraunt, Quayside Brasserie, or you could try a food cruise on Constellation Cruises. Enjoy!
