You could try the vet's office.  A pet store.  Farm sanctuaries if there are any in Sacramento.

You could try a vets office. They may need help cleaning and taking care of the animals. Do you have any animals, try your vet. They know you and have a relationship with you. You could try PetsMart. It's not exactly working with animals but pets come in from time to time. Good luck.

humane society... but usually just cleaning ups tho... u don't get to play with animals
