  1. Try Sumac at darling harbour. we went there on Saturday and it was relaxed, right on the water and reasonably priced

  2. Darling Harbour is lovely for tourists, Glebe is really funky. leichardt has great food too and because those places have so many restaurants you can get away without spending too much.

If you want something right in the CBD I'd recommend La Guillotine (behind the cinemas on George St) or a place in the Spanish Quarter like the Spanish Club.

    Or cheap and cheerful Chinatown.

  3. McDonalds

    Oh Sorry, you said nice

  4. Hungry Jacks of course.

  5. Go to Pancakes on the Rocks.

One of their two locations is right by Sydney Harbor (The Circular Quay stop if you're riding the bus), not too far from the Opera House.

They serve all kinds of pancakes, though most of them are more like dessert than breakfast. But they have other things on their menu, as well.

The atmosphere is nice; it's a hip place--popular among young people. The walls are adorned with some sweet artwork featuring Australian outlaw Ned Kelly

    They are open 24 hours.

I went there when I visited Sydney, and I had an enjoyable time with my friends. It's a unique restaurant.

  6. my daughter and her boyfriend had dinner at The Meat And Wine Co. in Darling Habour for Valentines Day and they said it was great, she also got 2 free roses!! :) good prices aswell!!

  7. I love the following the restaurants:

Kingsleys Steak (Woollomolloo is the nicest)

    Golden Century Chinese

    I'm Angus Steakhouse

    Balkan Grill (Fox Studios)

    Sydney's in Custom House

They are all really classy but some may be pricy.  Have a look though! Good luck!

  8. Why not something classy with spectacular views.

Jordans or nicks seafood restaraunt - water front on cockle bay wharf.

or Big JOhns in San Souci. meals are huge and it priced reasonably.
