This is for this coming weekend April 18, 19 &20. I saw a really nice restaurant called Texas de Brazil and the downtown life looked pretty neat. I want to impress this girl and I don't know much about the area....bars, clubs, live bands, blues clubs, etc.... I heard there was an Art Festival this weekend and I was wondering if it is fun. Thanks all for the help!!!!!

  1. If you want to take her to a place like Texas de Brazil - TRUST ME - Fogo de Chao is MUCH MUCH MUCH better!  Been to both several times.  Fogo de Chao is the best service by far.  It is in Addison on Beltline.

The Old Warsaw in Uptown area is also very nice.  Depending on how much you are willing to spend....  The French Room (in the Adolphus hotel - Dallas) or The Mansion on Turtle Creek.

I'll give you a couple of links to help you figure out just the right place.  Below are the links of the ones I mentioned, and then of guides to help you.

  2. I have eaten at the finest dining in Dallas.  The Reatta is by far the best food you can eat in Fort Worth.  I was very very impressed.  You can't go wrong!

If you're looking for an upscale steakhouse, Del Frisco's IS the best choice.

  3. I think if in the wrong area caus im from California

so I don't know anything ...... sry for wasting your time

  4. No reason to go to Dallas, downtown Fort Worth is very cool.

Upscale steaks I would go to Del Frisco's downtown

Unique eclectic Reata (this would be my choice for a unique dining experience, great food) www.reata.net

Mexican with an atmosphere Joe T Garcia's (stockyards) The ladies enjoy this place.

Mi Cocina (Downtown) Traditional Mexican, very good.

Barbecue: Angelo's or Railhead (neither in walking distance from downtown)

Texas de Brazil: I have heard it is good but it is a chain and not particularly noteworthy.

Clubs try: JJ's blues bar(close but to downtown FW)

8 o's for live jazz on patio but get there early for seating

  5. many around the home of the cowboys!

  6. ask if she loves sea food and try red lobster

  7. Yea, I would go to the art festival most definatly

Texas de Brazil is really great and the food there taste good too

Somewhere a bit farther off in Dallas would prob. the Mockingbird Grill

Or... the Gaylord Texan, its in between Dallas and Fort Worth

    Hope this helps

  8. The H3 steakhous in the stockyards is great! You could also go to Billy Bob's after for a casual experience.
