Does anyone know of a nice resturant?

We are about to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and are planning on going out for a meal, but whilst my husband will eat anything, i am very fussy and prefer english food.

Does anyone know of somewhere that is really nice but not that expensive that it takes my months wages up.

We live in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
