Does anyone know of a parking place to take pictures at MCI (Kansas City International)?

I could park inside the terminal parking area but you can't see any runaways from there because of the buildings. I'm trying to get a view of the planes taking off, especially just before sunrise.

If you are looking to take pictures of aircraft, I wish you a lot of luck....

If you want to take pictures of the runways, then go up on the hill to the east of the airport, where the Holiday Inn is/was and go down the street to where Sambos is/was. From the parking lot there you can see right down the north/south runway. To look down the east/west runway, you will need to get a map of that area, because it has built up since I was there in the 80's.
