  1. Google.  I entered one name and found my ancestry back through the year 80 A.D.

  2. If they're LDS you can track them through the church.  I can't quite remember how you do it, but it seems like you send a request to the church office building stating who you are trying to find, why, and where they last lived (to your knowledge).  You could call the church offices and ask how to do it.  =)

  3. I would try zabasearch.com  it lists all of the addresses someone has had.  I think telemarketers or something use it.

Also the yahoo or google will sometimes give you the person too.  I have googled a person's name and even come up with their information from their church newsletters and bulletins.

Hope that helps, good luck in finding your friend.

    Bonnie

  4. Besides myspace, also try facebook.

Oh don't forget the almighty google =)

  5. you would not believe the people you can find on myspace, I have found many. There are also tax records for property tax, they are usually public and sometimes you can get an address off those. Hope this helps

  6. You could try zabasearch or try this people finder.  It is really cool because it  lists "associate" family members.
