Does anyone know of a state or the federal government fining anyone operating a home bio-fuel plant?

I know that the feds only allow a certain amount that private citizens can produce before taxes apply and that amount varies at the state level.

I did work in West Texas oil fields. There were some wells that produce a  liquid that has enough gasoline product in it to burn in a car. If the feds caught U running this they would charge U tax based on your speed odometer.
