Does anyone know of a website that can teach me to make my own scents from scratch to put into candles?

I'm very interested in making my own candles that I've figured exactly how much proft I can make from .80 oz and up but, the fragrances that are safe enough to put in candles are from $2.49 a 1/2 oz. and up. So, I've tried to do my own research and I've not found a website yet on how to make my own fragrances from scratch that are safe enough to add to candles to make a unique scent or not so unique scent. I basically want to save a bunch of money by creating the scents , rather then spending $$ buying them. Anyone know a website that teaches this.

I figure if their are websites that can teach you to make a meth lab, bombs, grow pot, then, sureley there has to be a website that can teach someone how to make there own scents from scratch to put in candles or to sell for profits.

Please, someone help me?

usually for soap you get the whale blubber and fragrance so just go to the store and look for just the fragrance

Hi, I'm not sure where you found those prices but they're awfully high. I make candles myself and I wouldnt dare attempt to make my own fragrance. I believe its just too complicated and possibly could be very expensive. I have quite a few websites I buy my oils from and they're very reasonably priced. You can get everything you need to start your buisness and the all the info on how to make candles and lots of other things aswell. Most suppliers I use sell 1oz for 99cents which can be used for 1lb of wax depending on what you're using.
