  1. Hi scoopy, there is a great Forestry Commission picnic area in Swaffham, near Kings Lynn, Thetford Forest Park. It really is in a beautiful wooded area, they have a website, here is the link

You can also find some lovely picnic areas around the pretty little town of Downham Market. This is also en-route for you, and before you get to Swaffham - your dog may be crossing his legs, lol. Click on this link for further information about that area

If you have children who would also like to exercise their stored-up energy, you could stop at the picnic area where there is an adventure playground for them, its called Extreeme Adventure, in Weasenham Woods. Here is the link for that one.

    Hope this helps you.

Enjoy your trip - you will be driving through some beautiful areas, and Yarmouth is also in a lovely area.

    :)

  2. Your TOMTOM will show rest areas (as a POI) in an area around the route you are taking.
