Free would be great but a small fee is acceptable. Thanks.

  1. I'm not sure if such a website exists, but you could look at the deed to your house. But my best advice is to talk to the person who sold you your house. They should know the home's history and who has lived there. good luck

  2. Start with your county assessor - some have websites and you can search for free. County Assessor will also tell you what the purchase price was for the home at the time the person purcahsed it.

  3. Call your local police department and have them do a property background report . We moved into a home last Nov and it had been a rental for at least 5 years, they checked back 15 years for anything that went on there domestic's, drug busts etc...

  4. In the UK, you can download the title register for any property listed for £3 at http://www.landregistry.gov.uk/www/wps/p...

  5. Look at your deeds.

  6. Do a reverse address search, at intellious. A reverse search is when you know the address or phone number and wish to know who it belongs to. Here is a link to them; http://www.addresses.com

    Good Luck,  ;-)
