I want to work at home doing data entry. All the websites I have come across want money.

if you are looking for something genuine, authentic and interesting, i must tell you, long term steady income require some patience and dedication.. fast and easy money are mostly scams..

I suggest you setup an online store, or start a blog and monetize it. Both these options are free to start. Its interesting and fun as well.

If you're wanting to do data entry work from home, looking for a website to do it from is the wrong way to go about it. What you need to do is first go to job posting sites, such as Monster or HotJobs. Then, search through the data entry job using the keyword "telecommuting". Do you have experience in data entry? If not, you'll probably have a hard time finding a job from home doing it.
