in Lancashire. The mast is a real find because it is of a very rare mark but just suits perfectly.

  1. Milton Transport Services , Milton Trading Estate, Milton Malsor, Northampton ......

  2. Your friendly local yacht haulers!

'Phone some at each end of the journey plan and see if they've got any loads going that way anyway, which they can plonk the mast onto.

Or even just normal haulers - always worth a try. They can soon tie a small mast onto a trailer for you, for a small consideration, I'll bet!

    Good luck.

  3. Easiest way is to find someone taking a boat up your way and you could give them some money for petrol or somthing.

try asking on some sailing forums like RYA or Yachts and yachting.

  4. Try Sealand, they have a depot near St. Helens(Lancs) and if timing is not important, they might be able to put it on a truck with another boat going that way - saves money too !

  5. Just ring any Haulier.....they will know someone, How about Pickfords.

  6. Try Oak Transport, based in Uckfield which is not that far from Eastbourne,we used them a lot and never had a problem

  7. post office or any parcel company - cheapest way is probably to hire a roof rack for your car
