I have been searching colleges for WEEKS online and i'm going CRAZY!!! in all of that searching, i have found ONE Christian college with an Agriculture Major..and it was in Iowa (I'm in the mid-southeast) PLUS it cost >$25,000/year, which is toooo much.

I live on a beef cattle farm, and I have a dream of going into partnership with the owners (my dad and his dad). But I need a good, solid foundational education in Agriculture and Animal Science...but my parents INSIST that I go to a Christian college..I've gone to a private school my whole life. So, that makes things verrryy difficult...all the colleges i can find are any or all of this: No Majors in ANYTHING except theological mishmash, too far away, too expensive, or not Christian. Help me please!!!!

  1. I'd say your old enough to decide what college you go to with out your parents telling you it has to be Christian... its not like they will disown you if you go to a regular school.

Look up the University of Guelph in Ontario Canada, They have a top notch animal science program. And a very active christian group on campus if you want to get involved with it.

    Good luck.

  2. Thats why there are financial aid and scholarships and grants...etc. If you want to go to that school- start applying.  Actually you could start applying anyway.

But I think these might be some colleges that offer a degree in that major.

But if that doesn't work, well, then pick a different college and get active in a christian group there.

If you are 18, you are a legal adult and free to make your own, smart choices.

  3. I know there is one in Iowa, but I can't remember the name.

  4. yo mama

  5. don't listen to that first jackass. no one wants to go to canada for anything. most large schools of any religious denomination have lots of agricultural options. search for schools with ag schools and then check to see if they are jesuit or whatever.
