Does anyone know of any Go (Baduk, Wei-Chi) teachers that would be willing to teach for free?

I have been playing for about 1 year and I really want to understand the game more and get stronger. I play on KGS as grodz20 and my rank is 16k.

16 K is pretty good! I'd just play some dan players... Have you tried playing on http://www.dragongoserver.net... the games are an e-mail type server, which move a lot slower... makes it easier to study the other persons moves when you have a whole day to think about how they are going to react.

Try the KGS teaching ladder, you can usually find somebody who will help at your strength.  I am KGS bourbaki, 1k; I am a little out of practice and I don't always have time, but you can send me a message sometime if you like.
