Does anyone know of any Illinois, or Indiana out door public gun ranges?

I have been told of a gun range in Indiana off of route 2, but can't find any info. I live in crete il, right on the boarder of Indiana I have looked online and every where is 60 mi away or more. Any info would be appreciated.

If you are looking for shotgun and rifle...Willow Slough, IN has something. I do not know exactly where but I know its on Rt 41 south of Route 30.

Then if you wish to join the ISRA they have an outdoor range in Kankakee, IL that allows shotguns, rifles, pistols but you have to be a member and it is 200 bucks a year to join the range.

I might live close to you, but bobbo is right, willow slough is a nice range, it is on Rt 41 (Indianapolis Blvd.) and 100N th, Past St John and Cedar Lake. When you get close, you will see the streets go from 600n down to 100n, then turn right, (there are small signs) and go down untill you see the sign that says shooting range than follow to the right.  it is about 45 minutes from the Chicago border, but it is worth it, they do not charge, just bring your own targets and ammo. Perfect to go clay pidgeon shooting. They also have 25yd 50yd and 100yd ranges
