Perhaps you could also look at the websites for Universities who have animal facilities, or private zoos [in phone book or on internet].

Why not contact the Royal Blind Society http://www.rbs.org.au/ or Guide Dogs Australia http://www.guidedogsaustralia.com/ and see if they need staff at their kennels?
