Does anyone know of any barbeque salad dressing?

I ate this barbeque and something salad dressing at a restaurant. Does anyone know of such recipe? It was very good and I would like to know how to make it.

Was is a b-bq ranch? We used to top burgers, and other stuff with this at my mom-in-lawys restuarnt.

It was her daugters homemade b-b-q sauce. And ranch made with buttermilk and the packets you buy at the grocery store. It is also so very very very good on wraps, with fries and chicken strips.

    * Barbecue Salad Dressing

    * 1/2 cup mayonnaise

    * 1/4 cup prepared barbecue sauce (your favorite - I use Kraft's                    Hickory Honey BBQ Sauce)

    * 1 Tbsp instant minced onion

    * 1 Tbsp lemon juice

    * 1/2 tsp salt

    * 1/4 tsp pepper

Mix together all dressing ingredients, cover and store in refrigerator.

What I have had in many restaurants is ranch drizzled over the salad and then bbq sauce.  It is yummy!!

Many salad dressings, including Ranch have a mayonaise or sour cream base.  Bet you could try mixing one of those with BBQ sauce to make something up.  You might need to add a touch of milk to it to thin it out. (Humm--I might just try that)
