Ones with printable worksheets would be a big help!!

Also, does anyone have any ideas on how to deliver a lesson like this?

  1. It's not free, but it's one of the best resources I've seen yet:

    http://www.handsofachild.com/shop/World-...

It explains things in a very understandable way, has hands-on activities, and a wonderful bibliography/library list to go along with it.  Completely worth it!

  2. BBC history as the previous person suggested. This site also sees fun, depending on the age of your child:

    http://www.headlinehistory.co.uk/index.h...

    A bit more serious:

    http://www.historyonthenet.com/WW2/ww2ma...

  3. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_War_I...

    http://www.42explore2.com/worldwar2.htm

  4. http://www.iwm.org.uk/

  5. bbc history is good :]
