Question:

Does anyone know of any free knitting patterns for small toys and mini projects (i.e. no clothing, blankets)?

i am a beginner knitter who can do most knitting skills but have no experience with double pointed needles or knitting in circular. i like little things to knit such as flowers and toys but am having trouble finding patterns for them that don't require the said technique. any help?

  1. www.berrocco.com has several knitted toys that range from the pretty simple to the more complex (gotta stretch your skills to grow them).  Knitting Daily (this is an e-zine from Interweave that, yes, comes daily) has some free patterns for toys and other fairly simple projects that are small that you can work, but you do have to sign up and join, but they give you lots of help and some wonderful learning sessions (I've even learned some good stuff there <G>).  And www.knitty.com's archives have some cool, simple stuff too.
