I am a really passionate ballet dancer but I go to a private school with no financial aid, so my mom has to pay all of it without any help and without any extra money to do anything, so we're looking for free or near free ballet camps... Please help, Im really desperate and my mom really wants to make me happy!

  1. There are only two, totally opposite, ways to get low-cost ballet training (if you're a girl):

    1) Really crappy training run by Parks & Rec departments, Y's and the like with young teachers who barely know much ballet themselves, and

    2) Being offered a scholarship for your amazing talent by a top-notch dance program.

Otherwise, I'm sorry to say, ballet training does not come cheap. If you are really passionate about ballet and your mom wants to make you happy, you may need to reexamine your priorities in terms of your private school education. All of the (American)(female) dancers who become successful in ballet either come from well-to-do families or they make significant sacrifices to pay for training.

  2. Sorry, I don't live in Philli

    Have a nice day!!

  3. im sorry but you problay not going to find a dance camp that cheap mine Was 2,500 for a week  but i was out of state

  4. look in you local phone book and contact the dance studios that you find. Pick the one with the lowest price, and maybe you can explain your situation to them, and they can give you a price cut.

Good luck and hope this helps!!!
