In Tunbridge Wells "Woods" on the Pantiles has a g*y night on Thursdays.  Canterbury has a couple of bars as does Maidstone.

By the way, Brighton is in East Sussex...

There's a pub called the ship in Chatham. Try that. When I called to see if they were doing food that night I was informed that they would be empty as everyone had gone to Brighton Pride so I reckon it's a safe bet. Good luck.
