  1. yes!! this one is located centrally, well priced, and CLEAN!!!!

  2. I like Hotel San Francisco in Trastevere. It is across the river, but very close to the Forum, Campo de Fiori etc. Also, it is one block from the two main tram lines that will take you right into the heart of Rome.

    It's around $300 or 200 Euro

  3. This depends on how you define "reasonably priced" and exactly when you'll be there since prices at a given property can vary greatly. I use the Venere.com site for finding accomodations here in Italy. http://www.venere.com/home/ You can select a particular area in a given city and/or sort by price and rating. I've also found the reviews by previous guests to be useful.

Basically any of the central areas are walkable to the attractions. The Termini area is a little further to walk but is generally cheaper. I like the Capo d'Africa near the Colosseum, but it can be quite expensive but is sometimes quite reasonable. http://en.venere.com/hotels_rome/kolosse... Hotel Accademia is right around the corner from the Trevi Fountain http://en.venere.com/hotels_rome/fontana...

One good option may be the Hotel Romano http://en.venere.com/hotels_rome/kolosse... It's very close to the Forum & Colosseum and within walking distance of two metro stops and the Termini train station. Cheaper: http://en.venere.com/hotels_rome/kolosse... ,http://en.venere.com/hotels_rome/repubbl...

Another option you might consider is accomodations at a convent or monastery in Italy. These tend to be some of the best lodging bargains available. There are a number of them in Rome. see: http://www.monasterystays.com/?show=page... or http://www.santasusanna.org/comingtorome... for information.

My brother and his wife stayed in one and recommended it. A nephew and his wife also stayed in a convent in Rome and agreed it was a good experience.

  4. Good and reasonably priced? In Rome?? That may be difficult, because Rome is quite expensive for accomodation.

Try http://www.venere.com and see what you can find there. I've always booked hotels on that site, and never had a problem with them.

I have found this site. You can chose one do you prefer.

  6. The Hotel Felice in Rome is just a short walk from Termini Station, near to all the most interesting and charming places in Rome:
