I have been to La Quinta in Costa del Sol, Spain. Near Puerto Banus and Marbella.(www.LaQuintaGolf.com.). I just found these kind of places very far from everything. Plus: Do you want to play the same course all the time? Any case, this place is recommendable.

Your alternative is to rent an apartment in Marbella and then play more golf courses.

Have a look at Los Flamingos on the Costa Del Sol, near Marbella. http://www.flamingosgolf.com/club.php?la... - I went there in October last year. Great courses and a really beautiful 5 star hotel and spa. Also went to La Cala - good as well but Los Flamingos was better - though more expensive.
