  1. There's Khan's which is in Bayswater. Nearest tube stations are Bayswater and Queensway.

  2. No but the largest Indian restaurant in Europe is the Akhassh in Cleckheaton. The best Indian restaurants are in Bradford.

My husband and I live around the corner from this place and it is GREAT!

If you decide you want to try it; take the Central line to Stratford (zone 3).  Upon leaving the station, either hop into a taxi to the left of the station entrance

    - or -

catch a 25 or 86 bus (straight out of the station to stop C); you will stay on the bus only a short ride to Romford Road - you want to get off on the first stop once you've turned onto the road [keep an eye open for a NANDO's restaurant on the left and get off at the very next stop only yards away - you can also ask the driver to let you know when you are on Romford road].  Look across the street for Muskaan, their sign is in bright neon so they're hard to miss!

I highly recommend anything tandoori.  The Onion bhaji are delish.  The Peshwari naans are like heaven with a hot/spicy curry!

    Enjoy & cheers
