im near the phila. area...im 17 and my old dance school just isnt doing it for me anymore...i want to move on to something bigger....i dont mean anything like hiphop....but more modern/contemporary like philadanco

Philadanco is an outgrowth of a dance school that has been around for 48 years: The Philadelphia School of Dance Arts.

They run two studios: one in West Philly and another in the West Oak Lane/Mt. Airy area.

If you need to look in another Philly region, email either Kim Bears-Bailey or Donald Lunsford and tell them where you live and what you're looking for. (Their email addresses are on the Contacts page: http://www.philadanco.org/Contacts.htm ) Since they are also faculty members at UArts, they are in contact with many other teachers who divide their time between UArts and other studios, so they should be able to refer you to other schools.
