  1. You can consider going in Australia for your high school study abroad for they offer high quality of education and the cost of living and tuition fees are much cheaper compared to other countries..It has also a safe studying environment for international students..

  2. Germany! Great choice of country! :]

AFS is the best High School exchange program that I know of, they have 60 years of experience in intercultural exchanges and a great support system, their volunteers work very hard to make sure you have a good experience. It's not the cheapest but DEFINITELY worth it, it covers everything including a 24 hour local and international emergency service and a local AFS volunteer support network in each host community. They only thing they don't cover is spending money.

I'll assume your from the U.S, it costs 9,900 for the full year but they have a variety of scholarships you can apply for and a fundraising help site.

    Good Luck!!

  3. You can go with AFS or Nacel Open Door/Nacel or Rotary Club. It's depend on how old are you and where you live.

Nacel Open Door is a program in USA because Nacel (French) and Open Door (USA) joined and became 1 program. In other country the still call it Nacel

for Nacel Open Door, you can try to find the information in www.nacelopendoor.org

For Nacel you can check the information in www.nacel.org

  4. Might I suggest AFS, YFU or Rotary? Here are their websites:

    http://www.usa.afs.org/usa_en/home

    http://www.yfu-usa.org/

And Rotary doesn't have a specific website, you have to search it by district. For instance if you lived in Los Angeles you would search "Los Angeles California Rotary". Then email the exchange coordinator and if their email isn't listed email someone else and ask to be connected to the exchange coordinator.

Here is a forum that's really helpful: http://www.cultures-shocked.org/forum/?

If your looking for an inexpensive program, try Rotary. It only costs $3,900 where AFS costs $10,000+.

  5. A good site for high school programs is www.CSIET.org

I recommend looking at non profit organizations such as www.PIEUSA.org and Rotary.

    Good Luck!
