Does anyone know of any handball teams that are in the north of melbourne that i can play for?

You can play Handball In Melbourne. A new Victorian Handball Federation has just formed to replace the defunct one. Go to the Australian Handball Federation web site http://www.handballaustralia.org.au/  It will have info about Victoria very soon. [e-mail]  James is the person to contact in Melbourne.

There is currently only one men's handball team in Melbourne that offers regular trainings, which is Monash University Handball (Tuesdays and Thursdays at Monash Caulfield from 8-10). You do not have to be a student to join. Games and trainings for players are also organised every Sunday by the Handball Federation Victoria at Carlton Baths Community Centre. Trainings are currently organised Sunday mornings at 11.30 and you can just drop by. I have no idea about James' competition, that is being referred to, but I am unaware that there are any other men's team other than those referred to on the Handball Victoria website www.handballvictoria.com.au  

There are also currently efforts by some players from the Monash team to get a club going in association with LaTrobe University.
