Does anyone know of any interesting folklore or tales about animals from Indian mythology?

Mythologcal entities like Jatayu, Garuda, Nandi, Adishesh- the tales could be anything from their being the point of the tale to somehow being integral to or influencing another.

There are to meny tales in indian mythology. even vishnu's 3out of 10 avatar is as animal. also in bhagvat one story about anelephant and a magar in mahabharat there are atlist 4-5 story riletad animal. just go through it.
