Does anyone know of any other websites like freecycle.org?

I just joined freecycle and I am not that familiar with it yet... but I am looking for a puppy and some living room furniture and there is nothing on that websites that fits what I am looking for. I would really appreciate any websites that anyone knows about...Thanks Kerston

Take advantage of your new membership with the freecycle group.  Place a "Wanted" message for what you would like to receive in the way of furniture.  

There are many pet rescue groups on Yahoo.  Do a search for one in your area. We got a sweet little pomeranian from one.  Another suggestion:  Visit your local humane society or animal shelter and adopt a puppy.  There are so many pets that need a home.  The adoptable pets are always checked healthwise, given their shots and neutered before being offered to the public.  They do not knowingly offer sick animals.

Craigslist also has free items listed and stuff for sale.

good site im a member in my area. like me and others in my area we have made a group for things like that. there is a lexington area yardsale group etc. my suggestion is search for another group in ur area or make one and advertixse it. like i have buy/sell video games.
