Does anyone know of any paranormal sites that have chat rooms? I've looked on yahoo and google. I went so far

as to search on aol. Most of the ones I found, the people were rude, ignored me, or the they were talking about stuff that wasn't even about the paranormal ( if you get my meaning ). All I want to do is discuss the paranormal with people of like minds. If so do you ever go to the sites? I'm definatly not a professional researcher, but I do enjoy discussing it. Any suggestions would be appriciated.

There are people on here who give their IM openly..and who email. Why don't you just talk with them? I don't see the difference in that and a chat room..except you get more individual attention. Go to each person's profile and see if theirs is open and ask if they'll chat with you about paranormal. Sorry I can't . I have mine in my real name and not allowed to give it out. Not my comp. service.

I've got links for some forums that are for vampire, magical, psi and other paranormal subjects. I'll post a couple that have chat rooms. The only one I've used in which people actaully talk about paranormal stuff (not just silly chat) is at Drink, Deeply and Dream. Their chat room is usually pretty empty, but I've had the best conversations there with only 3-4 people in the chat room.

Most of the time those who are interested, tend to chat about mundane stuff - and has annoyed me too - so I leave.

What I've found works is to read some of the topic posts on the site - and ask what people think on the chat.

You have to turn the conversations to what you want to talk about. Then these people seem to wake up and have a good -useful conversation.

We're not that fanatical to be talking about it all the time!

If you want a serious discussion on a topic, Post it as a new topic on the forum, and you will get a longer- considered reply.

There are some fairly good dowser mailing lists.  Unless you are interesting in the ghost-buster side of things you might look for a dowsers.  It's about all of any consequence going on in the paranormal these days.

Here's a great one.  http://www.randi.org  More on the skeptical side, but they are happy to talk about it with you and try to figure out how to test it.  More of a forum, but I think they have chat as well.

Contact Joe on his paranormal site... He runs a yahoo paranormal group, also every week he hosts a paranormal interest radio show, every sunday night (american time).. and with the live radio, you just log on, and it has a chat room, that anyone can jump in and ask questions, while listening to guests talking..and through people there, and joe himself should be able to put you onto someone......send him an email from his site..i dont want to give out his email address from here...but you should like the radio show as well....
