Carvel is good! I just had a birthday and that's what I got . They have the best ice cream cakes!!!

Go to Porto's in Glendale on Brand. Amazing cakes that taste great.

If you want to go the other direction you have Joslins Bakery in Covina. They are downtown on Citrus next to the used bookstore.

Both will do custom cakes for you. They usually have some extras for the walk in customer. Portos will do designs, fruit, special occassions.
