Does anyone know of any reasons why the embassy from other countries would deny a person a visiting visa?

  1. It depends on what kind of visa you are trying to get. Each visa will carry it's own criteria and reasons as to why they can deny your visa (for example: a work visa as opposed to student visa).

    I would contact the consular from the embassy of the country in which you are trying to enter.


  2. There are plenty of reasons why a person may be denied a visa or any type, some of the common visa refusals are:

    - Incorrect information on application forms

    - No proof of or not enough funds available to support themselves for the duration of their stay.

    - Lack of significant ties to their homeland for which they intend to return to.

    - Not of good moral character

    - Criminal inadmissibility

    - Immigrant intent

    The list is pretty much endless, a consular officer can deny an applicant on pretty much any basis.
