Im looking for a program that teaches french classes in the morning, and does some things that teach the kids about paris and takes them around, but something that doesn't smother them and lets teens have freedom, especially at night to go out to do what they want. any ideas or suggestions?

  1. Try this site.  These are all accredited programs.

    http://www.csiet.org/mc/page.do?sitePage...

  2. Try these webs, Maybe they will be helpful.

    www.teen_summers_camps.com/ParisforTee...

    www.aventurased.com/Accord-summer-camp...

  3. Your best bet would be to contact the Alliance Francais.  They have chapters through out the world.  Their goal is to promote French language and culture.  They have classes and plan communal activities.  http://www.alliancefr.org/  That is their site.  I would play around on that site a bit.  See if they have a chapter near you.  Maybe you could sign up your teen for some classes or events before the trip.

A good teen exchange program is AFS.  That would take care of room and board and then you'd have to find classes on your own.  The student would be place in the home of French family and participate in the life of the family.  http://www.afs.org/afs_or/home

Other than that I would reccomend that you start contacting area high schools and universities.  Start asking if they have or know of any exchange programs in France.
