Does anyone know of any type of mental exercises that can help with ADD, attention deffeciet disorder?

  1.   Focus is something we can learn if we work and practice.  Find a quiet time and get rid of all distractions...no MPs, no cell phones, etc.  Focus on one subject and when you find your mind going elsewhere, bring it back.  Practice this regularly.  You may only be able to do a few minutes in the beginning but as you are able to do it, extend the time you focus on the task at hand.

    Surprisingly, sports uses this technique a lot to block out the distractions around them and focus on a goal (such as not hearing the crowd cheering, not seeing activity in the peripheral vision, etc.).
