Question:

Does anyone know of any vintage clothing stores in the Detroit suburbs?

I'm looking for vintage, reasonably priced clothes in the metro Detroit area. I'm hoping the store(s) would have a variety of clothes ranging from the 1940s to the 1970s. Any help or suggestions would be great. Thank you!

  1. Goto Toronto.. it's a quick drive (closer than Chi town.) Has tons of vintage shops.

  2. This question gets asked ALOT, Detroiters must love their vintage clothes. The largest Salvation Army in the Country is in Rochester Hills at John R and Auburn Rd. The bad thing is there's soooo much there it's almost hard to weed through. It's definitely more thrift than vintage, but I've found some amazing things I'd never find at a vintage store there, although not in a while.

There's a place called Mother Fletchers in Ferndale that I've never been to. Lost and Found Vintage has cool vintage clothes and is on 11 Mile at Washington in Royal Oak.
