  1. duno any soz

  2. dont know of any work in the area as I dont live there- I live in London, but I would recommend looking into retail which will be the main thing open at this time of the day and this time of the week. Also, its very very easy to get a job part time in retail, so you dont need to stress too much about competition.

Just hand in a C.V and a covering letter to all the stores you feel you want to work for and explain why you want to work for them (eg you love the company, not that you need some extra cash) always address the letter to the manager and do your company research before any interview.

    Retail includes tescos/sainsburys/waitrose, topshop/topman/river island/body shop/hmv etc and starbucks/cafe rouge/pret a manger and mc donalds.

    good luck.

  3. Try bartending, or be a bar back, or better yet a server.  I know they sound like meanily jobs, but the tips are good.  The hours are usually late but may establishments work around your schedule, expecially if you have an outgoing personality and are dependable.

It was my second job for 4 years and paid for my daughter bachelor degree in full.  She graduated and we had no student loans or outstanding debts.  Sure gave her a leg  up in life, just starting out.

Plus its a great way to network into a better job.  It might not be for you but think it over.  Bringing home 300.00 extra a night was worth the sacrafice.

Good luck, and also, look at you budget and see what you can give up for 1 year.  I mean really do so cut backs.  At first it wil seem like you are depriving yourself but at the end of the year all your bills are paid off and you have money to spare you will be so glad.

Another way that I paid for our family vacation each year, in which we took very nice ones was the simplest of all.  When makeing a purchase, intead of paying exact change, Id get change back, then as soon as I got home I'd put it in out Donald Duck bank.  It was untouchable until time for vacation, then we would get it down empty it out and start rolling.

We were always surprised at what we had saved and it made us put more change in for the next year.

    Just some suggestions.  Good Luck

    Jackie

  4. Try local pubs and clubs and restaurants

  5. Hi, how about party plan?

When you start doing your parties, for every party you have with £200 sales (after expenses) you will receive £10 back (from the deposit you paid for your kit) on top of your 20% commission.

Aim for 3 parties a week at £200 total sales (after expenses) and you would receive approximately £40 per party, that’s £120 per week for having fun and partying.

You get 20% of all sales at your parties (after expenses).

Example – 1 party that lasts approximately 2 hours, 8 – 10 guests and one host.

Collect all the guest orders and payments, add all the orders up and work out the 10% for hostess to spend. Add whatever is left for the host to pay on to you guest total and that is where you can work out your commission. 20% of the total sales after the hostess discount.

The higher the sales the more you earn.

  6. is there an agency near you? goto to a work angeny they will get you into factories and they provide transport to (extra charge in your wages though so watch out for that)

my fella does extra work like that every now and then if we need a boost in cash :)

  7. What about bar work/ glass collecting/ shelf filling at local supermarket. Visit the job centre site and fill in your interests and area etc and it will give you an idea of what is available to you.

  8. i do the same.. work in a bank call centre mid wk and work then in a taxi phone depot 1night mid wk and one night wkend.  stil gives me time for a bit of a social life but it also gives me a few extra quid to do it in.. its great, tho admittidley it can be a bit stressful at 2am on a sat nite when the whole of belfast, drunk, is looking for a ride home but sure ye just grin and bear it!

i wanted to steer clear from bar/restaurant work.. you never know when your going to finish and its harder to take drunk people if your tired from a hard wks work least on the phone you can get away with more..

  9. You could work at a convenience store or a adult film rental place.  Those seem to be open late and it seems like easy work.
