I want to build a speaker system that consists of 2 1/4 jacks, one (in) and one (out), a push button switch, and a speaker. Need help, thank you

Do you want to be able to chain the speakers together?  Is that the goal?

What is the push button switch supposed to do?  Turn off that speaker, or ?

just do it, if it dont work rewire and try again
