  1. We put a gross mixture on our saplings to keep deer away but I'm not sure if you want it on your veggies;

    rotten eggs, cloves and garlic.

    Probably not. :)

  2. there's something called a "scarecrow" but it's essentially a stake with a controlled sprinkler head that you attatch a hose to that will go off whenever it senses movement. i have one and it works brilliantly. also, there's powdered dried blood (i know, it's gross) that i saw in the store that you sprinkle around the perimetre of your garden. we have a huge overpopulation of deer where i live and we encounter this problem every night. if you have a dog, leave him/her overnight in a travel dog cage (or on a rope or even loose if your yard is fenced) to scare them away. if your garden is already fenced (just not the 8 foot deer fence) you can buy cheap black bird netting. attatch wooden or metal stakes to each fence post and then string the netting along the stakes so that your garden is completely fenced, however, make sure that the netting reaches a minimum of 8 feet or else the deer will just jump over it. you can also squirt them with super soaker like water guns when you do see them which can deter them from your garden when you're not there. apparently spraying milk on the plants works too.

  3. I don`t have this problem, so I haven`t tried this, but go to your local barber shop and get some tufts of hair and hang them around the perimeter of your garden. I have read several accounts that say the human scent keeps them away.

  4. Deer do not like the smell of vinegar .. ammonia .. or moth balls.

Hang the moth balls in a stocking around where they are roaming and they will leave.

Vinager or amonia .. can be placed in a jar lid and partially burried around the perimiter of your garden.

One of those should work for you.

  5. Motion detection water sprinklers will work. Or the home made stuff get ready to gross out.

    1 gallon of water

    12 eggs

    1 to 2 cups ammonia

1 to 2 cups human urine

mix well and spray a barrier around your garden sorry

  6. scatter human hair around the outside of your garden, or spray some PEPPER sauce on a select few vegtables.

nothing like some Habinero Pepper to spice up the day.

    Keeps ants away too.

  7. Put up a fence.--just a simple wire fence

  8. there are sprays u can spray on the plants every day

  9. Get some cheap 6 foot deer fencing and some tall posts and enclose your garden.  It's really the only way.
